Its been 8 days (and saying good bye to my almost 9 year old Dell laptop) since my last/first blog post but there has been so much extra craziness going on that this Crunchy Mama has not had the time to share anything here! My goodness how our world is in serious need of some encouragement, health tips, and social connection! And my how I've discovered that I'm not quite a dinosaur when it comes to technology but I'm definitely not in the fast stream that is ever-changing and growing! I've got some self-education to do to get caught up and quick!
Which brings me to my first point of this blogpost! 😃
We are in this time space reality of virtual...EVERYTHING! We'd almost never have to leave our homes, even if we had a choice right now. Looking forward to April 13th by the way!! I'll be running to my car screaming "Hallelujah I'm going to get groceries!!!" LOL But now is the time to self-educate! And there are so many options! I myself am working towards creating and organizing something awesome I can offer a special group of people that are seeking that specific knowledge!
So my question for you is...what are you good at? What do you LOVE to do? What would be the most perfect job that you could see yourself in, that would bring joy not only to your heart but the people that you help? Something special that you have to share? Is it cooking? Is it YouTube training? Is it Instagram help? Is it child-rearing? 🙋 oh, I need that!! You are great at something, maybe more than one thing! And God has given you this ability to share with others!! Especially in a time like our current situation!

Go ahead and try this Turmeric Broth recipe! Its great to sip or we love to pour it over some rice! Below are some health nuggets to digest and be reminded of, as you are striving to stay well! Golden Turmeric Sipping Broth
- 4 cups of chicken broth (if you're vegan, use chick-seasoning in your water!) Click here for an awesome recipe that I use from a healthy woman of so many great vegan cookbooks, JoAnn Rachor!
- 1 cup of whole fat coconut milk or coconut cream (the cream is creamier YUM!)
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric*
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger* Fresh is AMAZING!!!
- 2-4 cloves of garlic, smashed and peeled*
- Generous sprinkle of ground pepper, (freshly ground, preferred)
- Unrefined salt
- In a medium both combine all of the ingredients and bring to a low simmer. Simmer, on low, or medium-low heat for about ten minutes. Remove garlic with a spoon, salt to taste, and enjoy! Serve 2-4.
